Meet Chris Bailey

Chris Bailey leads Proterra as Chief Executive Officer, drawing on vast experience in industrial product and electronics manufacturing to guide the company's technology and market strategy. He previously served as Proterra's Chief Business Officer, directing every commercial function, including business development, sales and marketing, customer program management, and customer success and service.

Before Proterra, Chris spent nearly 2 decades in technology and commercial leadership roles at Hubbell Incorporated, most recently as Vice President of Product Innovation and Technology Strategy and Vice President of Hubbell Integrated Solutions, where he drove product management and market development for Hubbell's integrated technology strategy. He holds multiple patents in mechanical, electronics, optical systems, and human-machine interface design.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Studies, with an emphasis in Computer Science and Business Administration, from Middle Tennessee State University.

Dan George leads Purchasing and Supplier Quality at Proterra, bringing rigor and discipline to cost optimization, supply chain resilience, and strategic supplier partnerships. He directs Proterra's global sourcing initiatives and supplier quality strategy in support of the company's mission.
