Chris Card
Chris Bailey is Proterra's Chief Executive Officer, a technology and market development executive with more than 20 years of experience in industrial product and electronics manufacturing. He joined Proterra in 2021, most recently serving as Chief Business Officer and leading all commercial functions including business development, sales and marketing, customer program management, and customer success and service. Prior to Proterra, he spent 17 years in technology and commercial roles at Hubbell Incorporated, most recently as Vice President of Product Innovation and Technology Strategy and Vice President of Hubbell Integrated Solutions, driving product management and market development for Hubbell's integrated technology strategy. He holds multiple patents in mechanical, electronics, optical systems, and human-machine interface design, and a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Studies from Middle Tennessee State University.
Yogesh Card
Yogesh Pawar is Vice President of Engineering at Proterra, leading the full engineering ecosystem across design, manufacturing, quality, PMO, controls, and operational technology. He has led IT and PMO, transformed customer and field service operations, and spearheaded new product development, bringing structure and momentum to complex, cross-functional teams. Prior to Proterra, he led global R&D at ZF and held leadership roles at Johnson Controls in program management, commercial finance, and advanced engineering. Backed by dual master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration, he blends engineering precision with commercial insight and a collaborative, accountability-driven leadership style.
Greg Card
Greg Iwahashi is Head of Business Development and Customer Success at Proterra, where he owns the end-to-end customer experience — from business development through customer engineering in the prototype phase, and increasingly through partnerships, service, and aftermarket as programs move into production. He brings continuity across every stage of that journey, keeping the customer relationship intact from first conversation to full-scale execution. Prior to Proterra, he developed virtual power plants and energy storage projects at ENGIE, building a career focused on bringing new climate technologies to market. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology with a minor in Energy Resources Group from UC Berkeley.
Mabel Card
Mabel Feng is Head of Product and Policy at Proterra, covering product strategy, policy, and government affairs to drive innovation across a battery portfolio built for commercial and industrial segments. She's also an active voice in the broader industry, serving as a speaker, mentor, and board advisor. Prior to Proterra, she spent her career designing state-of-the-art semiconductor chips, launching new products, and leading strategic technology investments, scaling $100M+ product lines and new businesses at Texas Instruments, Bloom Energy, and Clearway Energy Group (NRG). She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Master's and Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from MIT.
Anton Card
Anton Wintzell is Proterra's Head of Finance and Corporate Strategy, with responsibility across financial management, reporting, planning, and corporate strategy. He brings deep financial and strategic expertise from a career in investment banking and corporate M&A at AB Volvo, where he structured and executed complex, cross-border transactions spanning public and private M&A, IPOs, and venture capital advisory. Before his corporate career, he served in the Swedish Armed Forces, including a tour in Afghanistan. He holds an MSc in Industrial Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden, and has studied at Tsinghua University's School of Economics and Management in Beijing.
Heather Card
Heather Johnas the Head of Manufacturing Operations at Proterra, leading end-to-end manufacturing strategy with a focus on quality, safety, and scalable growth in the electric vehicle industry. Over her tenure, she has advanced from Director of Materials, managing inventory across four manufacturing sites, to Director of Operational Excellence, partnering with cross-functional teams including Volvo to build automotive-grade operational systems. Prior to Proterra, she spent eight years at Gexpro Services, advancing from Branch Operations Manager to Director of Commercial Operations, overseeing multi-site P&L, ERP implementations, and Lean/5S initiatives nationwide. She holds a BS in Finance from Siena University, bringing an analytical lens to operations leadership and the same discipline to her work as a Certified CrossFit Trainer.
Dan Card
Dan George is Head of Purchasing and Supplier Quality at Proterra, bringing rigor and discipline to cost optimization, supply chain resilience, and strategic partnerships. Since joining Proterra in 2023, he has quickly advanced into the role, where he now leads global sourcing initiatives and supplier quality strategy in support of the company's mission. He brings over 20 years of supply chain and purchasing experience across automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers, holding increasingly senior leadership roles in procurement, PC&L, customer relations, and materials management at General Motors and BorgWarner. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University and an MBA from Western Carolina University.
Pj Card
PJ Goodwin is Proterra's Head of Information Technology, with responsibility across IT infrastructure, operations, cybersecurity, and technology strategy. Since joining Proterra in 2022, he has led the technology organization supporting the company's operating divisions and U.S. sites, setting IT strategy and owning the policies and controls that keep the environment secure and audit-ready. Prior to Proterra, he spent over a decade running 24x7 data center operations at Immedion and IMS Solutions Group, delivering 99% availability and earning SSAE 16 SOC 2 Type 2 certification year after year, and earlier managed global infrastructure across dozens of plants at Baldor Electric. He holds a Master of City and Regional Planning and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations from Clemson University — an unconventional path that has anchored a 30-year career building resilient, well-governed IT operations.
Marissa Card
Marissa Keisler is Head of Marketing, Communications and Business Development at Proterra, a leading commercial battery technology company within the Volvo Group. With nearly five years at Proterra, she leads brand strategy, partner engagement, and market expansion initiatives in the rapidly evolving commercial electric vehicle sector. She brings a unique blend of technical product knowledge and strategic communications expertise, having spent more than six years in the lighting industry as a Product Manager and trainer, with cross-functional leadership spanning product marketing, competitive intelligence, and executive communications. An active community member and adjunct professor, she holds an MBA from Anderson University
Heidi Card
Heidi DuJardin leads Human Resources at Proterra, a commercial electric vehicle battery pack manufacturer with a global Volvo Group affiliation. With more than 30 years of HR leadership experience spanning aerospace, manufacturing, financial services, and consumer packaged goods, she oversees the full spectrum of HR — from compensation strategy and benefits design to performance management and organizational development — partnering directly with executive leadership to build the people infrastructure that supports Proterra's mission and growth. She is known for designing lean, right-sized solutions tailored to a specialized workforce of engineers, technicians, and operational professionals. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and professional certifications in Human Resources and Compensation & Benefits Analytics, and volunteers with Circles USA, Harvest Hope, and LiveWell Greenville to help reduce poverty and hunger in South Carolina.
Jen Card
Jen Miller is Proterra's Head of Legal and Corporate Secretary, with responsibility across commercial contracts, supply chain and procurement, intellectual property, product safety and regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and employment matters. Since assuming the role in January 2026, she has played a central part in building Proterra's legal infrastructure as a standalone commercial entity following the Volvo Group/Mack Trucks acquisition, helping the company stay nimble in an increasingly complex regulatory and commercial environment. Prior to Proterra, she held in-house legal roles in the electric vehicle charging and tech sectors, and spent nearly a decade in law firm practice as a commercial litigation attorney managing complex, high-stakes disputes across industries, including antitrust litigation on behalf of a U.S. solar energy company. She holds a J.D. from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and is a member of the California State Bar.
